  • Marine Drive

Marine Drive stretching over 5 km along the coastline surrounding Nariman Point and Chowpatty Beach is one of the most appealing places in Mumbai for possessing awesome ocean and sunset view. The Marine Drive in Mumbai is situated in central Mumbai. Popularly known as the "Queen's Necklace", Marine Drive forms the famous pathway for the people to enjoy. It looks great when the street lights bordering it are lit at night.

  • Juhu Beach

Juhu beach is among the largest and regularly visited beaches in Mumbai. It is 18 km in the north of the city. This beach is also among the most exotic beaches with some bungalows of the popular stars nearby which also makes Juhu one of the posh areas in Mumbai. With some luxury hotels surrounding it, the Juhu beach is a sought after place for hanging out in Mumbai. The beach also has numerous food stalls, donkey and horse rides. The other beach entertainments consist of dancing monkeys, cricket matches, toy sellers, acrobats etc.

  • Chowpatty Beach

The only beach in Central Mumbai is the Chowpatty beach. It is the place where many Hindu ceremonies take place like the annual thread-tying ceremony of the Brahmins, 'Nariel Purnima', 'Ganesh Chaturthi' etc.

The beach is known for lines of eating stalls, shooting galleries, monkey trainers, balloon sellers, snake charmers, and masseurs. Lately, the beach has been supplemented with a "Nana-Nani Park" especially for the elder people.

  • Marve and Manori Beach

The Marve and Manori beaches are situated at a distance of 19 miles away from the island city of Mumbai. These striking beaches are also enjoyable for bathing purposes. Marve also has a star resort where you can spend a refreshing weekend.

  • Versova Beach

Nestled within a scenic coastline, the Versova Beach is situated in Greater Mumbai. The sandy coast is washed by the cooling waters of the Arabian Sea. The beach is a complete fun destination.

  • Madh Island Beach

Madh Island is a collection of old farmlands and villages snuggled on the north-west coastline of the city of Mumbai. Its peaceful beach is known for holding ravishing parties by the high society people of the city.

  • Gorai Beach

Located in the North of Mumbai, the Gorai Beach is a short ferry ride from Marve beach (Malad West) or Gorai creek (Borivali West).This beach has long wide coast with sun baked sand shore. Known for its night parties, during the day Gorai beach is besieged by picinic groups and couples waiting to catch a glimpse of a vivid sunrise/ sunset.

  • Aksa Beach

It is located in the north suburbs of Mumbai in the Aksa village and is nearly 12 kilometers from Borivali and 9 kilometers from Malad stations. It can be reached by buses, autos or taxis from Malad and Borivali stations. The cool breeze and the sunset in the evening mesmerises everyone who visit it. Along with the sunset view, one can enjoy long walks along the lush foliage on one side and the sea on the other. It is not so frequented by tourists but popular with young lovers due to its clean and tranquil environment. It is very well known as a lovers' beach.

  • Dadar Chowpatty

Dadar Chowpatty beach is situated in the suburbs of Dadar in Mumbai. It is located very near to Shivaji Park. People come here only to enjoy sun-set view, silence and the cool breeze. It is basically used for jogging and walking purposes. One can have a very good view of the Bandra Worli Sealink from this beach.

  • Bandstand beach

Situated in the Bandra suburbs of Mumbai is Bandstand beach. This beach is named after the bandstand culture of old glorious days when bands were used to entertain by playing outdoors at this place. It is also popularly known as lovers' point where one can find plenty of couples during the evening spending quiet moments together at this romantic rocky sea area of Mumbai.
