Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in Mumbai, Maharashtra (formerly Sahar International Airport) is spread over an area of 7.6km².It is India's largest airport and is located inside the city, towards the north with convenient access to the rest of the city by road and the local rail network. The airport handled 30.75 million passengers and 600,000t of cargo in 2012.

Navi Mumbai International Airport

Navi Mumbai International Airport is a proposed green field airport project located in Mumbai’s Kopra-Panvel area. Navi Mumbai will be Mumbai's second airport. Upon its completion, Mumbai will be the first city in India to have more than one airport. The airport is being built through a public-private partnership between the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Government of Maharashtra. India's Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis advised all approvals for the Navi Mumbai International Airport project are in place and first service will launch by Dec-2016.
